Usher Ministry
The primary role of Triumphant’s Usher Ministry is to ensure that the worship of God in the sanctuary is carried out decently and in order. Ushers are keepers of peace and serve to ensure that the worship is carried out with dignity. Our ushers are often one of the first “official” representatives of the church that people meet.
Ushers welcome people as they enter the house of God and their role is to make them feel comfortable and prepared to experience the Love of Christ by:
- Directing persons to their seat
- Collecting the tithes and offerings of God’s people
- Providing any necessary assistance in the sanctuary.
“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” (Psalms 84:10, KJV)
