Our Vision
Vision Statement

The Triumphant Church of God was birthed out of the ministry and vision of the First Church of God under the visionary leadership of Bishop Timothy J. Clarke.  The Triumphant Church of God voluntarily submits itself to the spiritual covering and oversight of Bishop Timothy J. Clarke and has membership in the Berean Fellowship of Churches.  The vision that God has placed in the Triumphant Church of God is tied to the vision of our parent church, the First Church of God, to continue to partner in ministry initiatives to reach the lost for Jesus Christ.  The Triumphant Church of God also has membership in and fellowship with the Church of God Reformation Movement headquartered in Anderson, Indiana and the National Association of the Church of God headquartered in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania.

At the Triumphant Church of God we envision sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with thousands of churched and unchurched people many of whom will accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior and make the Triumphant Church of God their place of Christian witness and Kingdom work.

We envision developing each of our members, new believers as well as established believers, into faithful fully mature disciples of Jesus Christ.  We seek to accomplish this through Sunday worship experiences, Christian education opportunities, special events, and an extensive series of vibrant and relevant small groups.

We envision becoming a church of small groups where our members model a biblical Christian community.  We envision our small groups being a safe place of acceptance and accountability where everyone experiences the love of Christ, is discipled and disciples, is ministered to and ministers, is encouraged and encourages, is edified and edifies.

We envision assisting our members in the discovery of their spiritual gift(s) and equipping them to effectively serve Christ in Christian ministry, living out our belief in the priesthood of all believers. We envision our members growing and maturing in their personal relationship with the Lord and experiencing divine healing in their family and marriage relationships.

We envision equipping and sending out many of our members as church planters and domestic and foreign missionaries.  We envision planting a church when our membership reaches 1,000 members and commissioning missionaries annually for short term missions.

We envision enough land and a facility large enough to accommodate our multifaceted ministry.  We envision having a full service financial institution and an accredited Discipleship Institute that specializes in equipping churches and persons from the community in principles of discipleship and leadership.

We envision having facilities that function as temporary transitional houses for persons who were formally incarcerated and for those battling substance abuse.  These ministries would provide basic life skills training and offer specialized technical training programs to assist these persons in becoming healthy, contributing members of the community by living on their own and obtaining employment.

We envision the Triumphant Church of God as a growing congregation that continues to grow as God prospers our personal evangelism efforts to the unsaved.

This is our vision of a local congregation contributing to the Kingdom of God.
